Warranty Claims

Einhell are confident with the quality of their products and wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Einhell offers a comprehensive warranty policy to ensure that its customers receive the highest level of service and protection for their investment.

Standard 2 Year Warranty

In addition to the statutory warranty claim, Einhell grants the end user a manufacturer's warranty of 24 months on appliances and 12 months on batteries from the date of purchase on all technical defects for which Einhell is responsible. For products registered online up to 30 days after the date of purchase, Einhell extends these warranties to 3 years for appliances, 3 years for Power X-Change batteries and 10 years for the motor in the case of a PurePOWER Brushless appliance. The latter warranty covers only defects in the motor of the manufacturer mentioned below due to a material or manufacturing defect and is limited to the repair of such defects or the replacement of the motor at our discretion.

Warranty claims must be made before the expiry of the warranty period and within two weeks following defect detection. After the repair or replacement of the unit, neither an extension of the warranty period nor a new warranty period for the unit or spare parts will be initiated. This also applies if an on-site service is used. Einhell products sent in without a type plate or proof of purchase will not be considered for warranty repair

Extended 3 Year Warranty by Registration

Register your new Einhell product within 30 days of purchase and benefit from the extended warranty. After registration, the warranty for your Einhell product is extended by an additional year to a total of 3 years.

The service is only available for the following brands: Einhell Red, Einhell Classic, Einhell Car Classic, Einhell Car Expert, Einhell Home, Einhell Expert, Einhell Expert Plus, Einhell Professional. You will find the brand name on the packaging, in the operating instructions and on the nameplate of your product.

3-Year Power X-Change Battery Warranty

Einhell Power X-Change batteries have been developed to meet the highest quality and safety standards. Not only are Einhell proud of the consequent durability of their batteries they guarantee it: which is why they have extended the warranty for all Einhell Power X-Change batteries to 3 years.

10-Year purePOWER Brushless Motor Warranty

Register your new Einhell PurePOWER Brushless product within 30 days of purchase and benefit from the extended warranty on the machine's motor. After registration, the warranty for your Einhell purePOWER brushless product will be extended to 10 years.*

*This warranty covers only motor defects due to a material or manufacturing defect.

Warranty Exceptions

Warranty claims will not be accepted in the following cases

• Improper use, storage, use of unsuitable operating materials.
• Wear and consequential damage (also to the motor) due to lack of maintenance, care, and lubricants.
• Damage to the unit due to wear and tear that is unusual or normal in use.
• Damage to the engine caused by non-observance of the installation instructions.
• In the case of Einhell Classic or Expert products used for commercial, manual or professional purposes (exception: Professional units may be used for this purpose).

Making a Warranty Claim

Einhell will arrange the collection of your device or the return service can be used. Both are free of charge for all valid claims. Select the desired service when completing the form.

Damage from improper use, including accidental damage from stones, sand or dust, use of force or other external influences and if used in a commercial setting, are not covered under the terms of the warranty.

Packaging Guidelines

If possible, please pack your product in the original packaging. Otherwise, choose an appropriate shipping package. Please make sure that your product is protected against sliding around.
